Inspired by a concept art i found on the internet ,the original character is older but i modified it slightly.Modeled this in the month of August last year.
Base mesh modeled in Maya,detailed in Zbrush,textured using Zbrush and photoshop,rendered in Zbrush in different passes and did the comp in photoshop.

Old Man Steve
This one was a quick doodle i did at work,the base mesh was made in maya and zbrush for sculpting and texturing,rendered in zbrush as well,photoshop for comp.Made this in the month of July last year and it took around 2h:30 mins

This one was also fetured in the AUGUST - SEPTEMBER 2008 issue of CG ARENA magazine.

But the biggest thing is that this particular artwork has also been selected under the 3d protraits rendered in EXPOSE 7 magazine by Ballistic publication to be out in the month of JUNE this year.Its an absolute honor to be among these amazing artists,best thing ever.

Daredevil Scale Bust

Came across this amazing website called Sideshowtoy,awesome stuff,maquettes and collectibles,my favorite,saw this amazing one of Daredevil,it was so cool,it just had that attitude,
i just had to make it,one of my fav models.Made this in the month of June in 2008.

Here is the wireframe of the base mesh used.


Worked on this commercial for Mtv , modeled all the characters and have also done the UV's and the blendshapes for them,loved working on this project and it was a good experience.This add won Best Animation PSA (Public Service Announcement) at the
2nd Golden CursorAnimation Awards presented at Mumbai
Also won SILVER at the 2009 PROMAX AWARDS

Old Man sculpt

I had never tried sculpting an old character,so i took this chance to study wrinkles and stuff,made this in the month of February in 2008.This took around 3 days,very happy with the end result.

Also did a test render in Maya using normal mapping and rendered in mental ray.

Mafia Boss

Based on a concept art i found on the internet,ended up adding my own bits into it,experimented for the first time with normal and displacement mapping in Maya,along with SSS.Made this in the month of February in 2008,this one took around 5 days.
More work to come.

The Barbarian

This was my first attempt at sculpting and texturing a model in zbrush
,ahh.... made this back in January Of 2008,was very happy with the output,and was my first official post on zbrushcentral and cgtalk aswell.
